Having lived in neighbouring Carlisle in a 1950's built house, Samantha and Chris have built their dream home in nearby Lathlain and couldn’t be happier with the result!
The couple purchased an old property with the intention of knocking it down and building the home they have been planning for a number of years. They decided to initially rent the property while they finalised plans for their new home ensuring they crossed the t's and dotted the i's.
A splash of colour in the kitchen
Indeed this home is truly stunning. Everything has been considered. The kitchen, with its unique yellow splashback, flows seamlessly to the outdoor entertaining area and is just perfect for enjoying time with family and friends.
The huge island bench is extremely functional and is a favourite spot for daughter Juliette (7) to eat her breakfast every morning before school.
And the scullery and walk in pantry ensures any mess is easily hidden.
Let your imagination run wild
Chris and Samantha brought a lot of their own ideas to the home, which was based on the Parkwood design.
"Having lived in an old home from the 50’s we had a very clear vision of what we wanted this home to be."
